Women Go Tech and Junior Achievement Lithuania, together with the support from Vinted, have joined forces on a mission to empower girls to choose the tech industry as a potential future career path.

The #EmpoweringGirls project aims to connect Women Go Tech alumnae – the role models who have successfully entered the tech sector – with a target group of students who, as teenagers, face important decisions about their education and future career choices. At its core, the project tackles the ongoing issue of unconscious bias regarding the appropriate career paths for different genders.

Over the past three years, the speakers have inspired more than 22,000 students by sharing their career journeys, leading interactive workshops, and encouraging students to stay curious and explore opportunities in the tech sector.
