I like mentoring because you can help other people learn from your (and others) mistakes. Having worked in several vastly different companies I have first hand experiences of contrasting company cultures and challenges the engineers face. As you may have already guessed it’s pretty much never just about coding and the best engineers that I have met still have a very wide array of skills that make them successful. All of this can be very confusing for the newcomers and I hope that I can provide guidance on how to navigate the rough seas of starting your career in IT.
