I am IT and business administration professional by formal education (PhD in Computer Science and EMBA / MScs in business administration) and by professional experience.
My career path shaped me as a professional – I started as a programmer, moved to IT project management, later to business and IT consulting, and then joined Ignitis group – first as Head of Group IT, and currently I am CEO of Ignitis group service center (which provides both IT and business support services for Ignitis group companies). I strongly believe that nowadays more than ever IT solutions play crucial part in any organization success. However, during my career I also learned that understanding the context of organizations (strategy, values, goals, culture, stakeholders) plays crucial part in success of any IT professional.
