During my career, I have moved from diplomacy to IT and to my current position – leading a dedicated team drafting cybersecurity strategy, policy documents, and drafts of laws and regulations. My previous experiences as a diplomat helped me a lot in quickly learning to operate in a new environment, get to know new team members, identify, and engage stakeholders both from inside and outside organizations, draw up, communicate, and implement action plans. I believe in being an optimalist – doing your best under given circumstances, accepting reality, and not being afraid to fail.
