I am a Certified Scrum Product Owner, with several years of hands-on product ownership roles within agile development teams, in both Scrum and Kanban settings. Prior to becoming a Product Owner, I had 12+ experience in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), with a core focus on web B2C and B2B products that heavily relied on search engine traffic. I’ve picked the skills through working experience, and have served as a Head of SEO for the UK’s leading online business directory at the time. My work experience is solely UK-based, so I am happy to share the ins and outs of a Product Owner working in a Tech department in the UK.
