Experience gained from a variety of different roles (as an analyst, software developer, team manager, department manager, tribe coach and director of engineering) allowed me to clearly understand that life-long learning is the common denominator in any field, let alone – in IT. I strongly believe that the greatest success is achieved by those teams and those individuals, who not only possess great skills and drive but also put a great deal of effort into their development and improvement. Only then we have a chance to succeed in this ever-changing and evolving world of IT. And some magic of Emotional Intelligence on top – as a secret ingredient, which (still) tends to get overlooked.
